Crock Pot Honey Sesame Chicken

This is dish which you would normally order in, but not surprisingly, you can also cook in your own chicken! The slow cooker gives it an extra delicious flavor, and is a healthy way to cook it!

Ingredients
  • 6-8 boneless, skinless chicken thighs or 4 chicken breasts
  • Salt and pepper
  • 1/2 cup diced onion
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1/2 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil or olive oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 4 teaspoons cornstarch
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 2 packets minute rice, optional
  • 1/2 tablespoon (or more) sesame seeds
  • 3 scallions, chopped
