Ginger Chicken

Sometimes, life leaves us so haggard that even the act of lifting a fork to your mouth seems like a chore. It’s times like these that I make this ginger chicken. It’s mindlessly simple and yet the mere aroma of the chicken cooking will awaken your hunger and nourish your soul.
Ingredients:
  • 1.5 pounds boneless chicken thighs
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons sake
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon finely grated fresh ginger
  • 1 teaspoon vegetable oil
  • chopped scallions and sesame seeds for garnish
